Valentine’s Day is all about treats, right? There are some occasions throughout the year where treating yourself is absolutely a necessity and this is one of them. But when all the chocolate and candy has run its course, or if you’re the kind of Valentine that prefers fruit as a treat (I’m with you on that one), this smoothie bowl is for you. It’s sweet, creamy and full of love. I hope you enjoy it!
CUPID’S SMOOTHIE BOWL
yield: 2 servings to share with your special someone, or if you’re flying solo a
large 1 just for you
2 bananas, peeled
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 oranges, peeled
1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
½ cup water
Combine the bananas, frozen strawberries, oranges, pineapple and water in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with shredded coconut, chia seeds and frozen strawberries.
