Superfood Iced Tea: Goji Berry, Matcha, & Pineapple

Iced Tea

Nothing says summer like a cold glass of iced tea. Since June is International Iced Tea Month (yes, that’s a real thing!), we’re sharing 3 recipes for you that kick things up a notch. Skip the sweet tea, i.e, sugar tea, and add superfoods instead!

GOGI BERRY ICED TEA

Superfood Iced Tea (3 Recipes: Gogi, Pineapple, Match)

INGREDIENTS

water (½ – 1 gallon)
2-4 green tea bags
2 tbsp of goji berries
1 tbsp Berry Bliss Superfood Protein

DIRECTIONS

Bring your water to a boil. Turn off the heat, and add the desired amount of tea bags. Steep for 10 minutes. Soak 2 tablespoons of goji berries in warm water for 10-15 minutes. Then add the softened berries to a blender, along with the steeped tea and Berry Bliss powder. Pulse until all ingredients are combined, and strain if desired. Set aside to cool, and add ice as needed!

PINEAPPLE ICED TEA

Superfood Iced Tea (3 Recipes: Gogi, Pineapple, Match)

INGREDIENTS

water (½ – 1 gallon)
2-4 green tea bags
½ cup fresh pineapple
1 tbsp Berry Bliss Superfood Protein

DIRECTIONS

Bring your water to a boil. Turn off the heat, and add the desired amount of tea bags. Steep for 10 minutes. Add your fresh pineapple to the tea while it is steeping. Then add the mixture to a blender, along with the Berry Bliss Powder. Pulse until all ingredients are combined, and strain if desired. Set aside to cool, and add ice as needed!

MATCHA GREEN ICED TEA

Superfood Iced Tea (3 Recipes: Gogi, Pineapple, Match)

INGREDIENTS

water (1/2-1 gallon)
2-4 green tea bags
2 tspn matcha powder
1 tspn Green Dream Superfood Protein

DIRECTIONS

Bring your water to a boil. Turn off the heat, and add the desired amount of tea bags. Steep for 10 minutes. Add your steeped tea, matcha and Green Dream powder to a blender. Pulse until all ingredients are combined, and strain if desired. Set aside to cool, and as ice as needed!

* Feel free to switch things up by steeping different teas, or adding some fresh fruit. Pile on the ice to keep your tea chilled, and add honey, agave, or stevia to for an extra touch of sweetness!
