Smoothies, smoothie bowls, smoothie muffins… there isn’t a smoothie-ish recipe we don’t love. Smoothies are great for on-the-go, but if you want a slower moment during the morning to catch up on the news, write in your journal, or enjoy the silence of a sunrise, the smoothie bowl is where it’s at. Today we’re sharing a sweet take on the smoothie bowl featuring raspberries and topped with pecans from Functional Nutritionist Jennie Miremadi. Check out more of Jennie’s recipes here.
Raspberry Pecan Collagen Smoothie Bowl
12 oz. unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup organic raspberries, frozen
2 tbsp. organic, raw pecans
2 tbsp. chia seeds
2 scoops Vital Proteins Grass Fed Collagen Peptides
1/2 cup organic frozen spinach
Stevia to taste
Raspberries and pecans for garnish (optional)
Add all ingredients other than garnish to Vitamix or other high-speed blender and blend until well combined. Pour into a bowl and garnish with raspberries and pecans, if desired.
Serve and enjoy!
