Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Peel and cut the bananas into ½” slices. Set aside.

Pour your toppings into separate bowls, making sure that each topping is about a ½ cup.

Using a double-boiler, fill the bottom of the pan with an inch of water and bring to a simmer. Place the boiler over the top and fill the bowl with chocolate. Stir the chocolate as it begins to melt. Once completely melted, add the coconut oil, stir and remove from the heat. During the process of dipping each banana, you may need to re-heat the chocolate. Simply place back over the hot water until the chocolate is re-melted.

Dip 1 banana slice at a time into the melted chocolate, completely coating all edges. Using a fork, remove the banana slice and dip into your topping of choice, coating all edges. Use a clean fork, and remove the banana from the toppings on set on parchment lined baking sheet. OR if you prefer fewer toppings, set chocolate dipped banana onto parchment paper lined baking sheet and sprinkle toppings over the banana.

Continue dipping each banana into the melted chocolate and decorating with the selected toppings. Once all bananas have been coated in chocolate and toppings and are placed on the parchment lined baking sheet, place in the freezer for a minimum of 5 hours, but preferably overnight. Once completely frozen, transfer dark chocolate banana slices to a freezer container.
