I had you at margarita, right?
A traditional margarita is made of tequila, triple sec, lime, and salt or sugar on the rim. Some people make their margs from scratch, but many of us have gotten used to store-bought margarita mixes for their convenience, especially when you’re serving a crowd. I am very much a lover of convenience, but most of these mixes contain sugar, corn fructose syrup, and other unnecessary ingredients. So I set out to create a margarita that is both convenient and not too terribly bad for you.
In walked Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar Limeaid, made from a combination of Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), organic lime juice, pure distilled water, and natural organic stevia. I first discovered Limeade at the Natural Food Expo, but had no idea how I would ever us it. Then someone told me it’s a great mix for margaritas. In that moment it felt like the sky had opened up, light shone down, and a lightbulb went off in brain. Yes, of course! This is the perfect mixer for a margarita. Hallelujah!
If you’re not familiar with ACV, the health are numerous. It’s thought to be anti-inflammatory, aids with digestion, lowers cholesterol, boosts metabolism, and on and on… So not only will this be the easiest marg you ever make, it may help your health too.
