Pumpkin Oatmeal Face Mask

A worldwide memo goes out every year as soon as the first leaf hits the ground. The memo is the following: PUMPKIN everything. Eat pumpkin, drink pumpkin, breath pumpkin. Today, we are putting it on our faces. This face mask is an awesome way to use up that random pile of leftover pumpkin. You know those recipes that call for 14 ounces of pumpkin puree but you have a 15 ounce can? Or what about when you roast up a real pumpkin squash and no matter how little it looks going in it seems to produce a never-ending amount of puree? Well this is the solution. We prevent food wastage and give our skin a spa status face mask with tons of benefits.

This mask recipe has three ingredients-pumpkin puree, ground oats, and pure, raw honey. Together, these ingredients complement each other in ways that will spoil your complexion. The pumpkin has so many healing vitamins and minerals resulting in a radiant glow. Oatmeal is a goddess for our skin so much so that people bathe with it. Raw honey is like gold. Honestly, it is. Honey has been known to treat and heal burns either from a kitchen mishap or from too much sun. It is powerful stuff that makes for a perfect, soft complexion.
