This peanut butter and chocolate protein smoothie with strawberry layers will have you feeling like you just indulged in the most decadent of desserts. This recipe uses only real ingredients, no BS allowed.

PB & Chocolate Protein Smoothie With Strawberry Layers

INGREDIENTS

1 serving of protein powder of your choice
1/4 cup oats
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup light coconut milk
1 date (optional)
1/4 cup- 1/2 cup ice cubes (add as needed)
1/2 cup chopped organic strawberries

Optional additions //

• extra strawberries
• chopped peanuts
• chopped dark chocolate
• melted dark chocolate drizzle

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to a high speed blender until you have a thick creamy consistency. Pour into a glass with alternate layers of smoothie and strawberries. I typically eat a thick and decadent smoothie like this with a spoon. Optionally, if you’re feeling extra indulgent, you can add some melted dark chocolate drizzle, extra strawberries, chopped peanuts, and chopped dark chocolate.
