It’s like drinking pure sunshine. And when you add in some chia seeds, a touch of sweetness, and a good shake or two, you end up with a deliciously elevated beverage that will surely add some glow to your day.
Chia seeds may be small in size, but they are BIG in nutritional value. A single serving is loaded with fiber, Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which are perfect for these winter months when our immune systems are definitely in need of some extra support.

Chia Seed Lemonade
2 cups cold water
¼ cup coconut water
juice of ½ lemon, plus zest
1.5 T chia seeds
½ T coconut nectar
1. Add all ingredients to a large glass or Mason jar and stir well.
2. Allow 10-15 minutes for the chia seeds to swell up. Then give the lemonade another good stir, and add ice or additional sweetener if needed!
