Baked Superfood Pears

These golden, caramelized pears baked with cinnamon and Philosophie Green Bee Honey are a super simple, yet divine treat to bring to fall and winter gatherings! (Also try my Persimmon Pumpkin Pie.)

Pears are packed with fiber, a carbohydrate that helps regulate the body’s use of sugars and maintain a healthy heart. This Old World fruit also has vitamins A, C, and K, as well as potassium, the mineral that supports you from head to toe by promoting healthy cells, tissues, and organs!

For some added crunch, sprinkle on some crushed walnuts for an ample dose of omega-3s, which boost melatonin levels, support brain health, and ensure restful sleep.

As an added bonus, baking these bears will warm up your home and coat the air with a festive honey-fruit scent that’s way better than any holiday candle!

Baked Superfood Pears

2 large, ripe pears
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons Philosophie Green Bee Honey
1/4 crushed walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut the pears in half, scoop out the seeds with a measuring spoon or melon baller, and place onto a baking sheet. Sprinkle with cinnamon, top with walnuts, and drizzle 1/2 teaspoon of honey over each one.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. If you feel the pears come out of the oven a little on the dry side, feel free to spray with coconut oil to add moisture and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Remove, let cool, and ENJOY!
