With summer coming to a close and the fall season rapidly approaching, the transition of hot summer nights to colder weather can wreak havoc on our bodies. During this transition our skin can use a little extra love and care. At Laurel Whole Plant Organics, we believe that purity and using the whole plants that nature provides instead of a piece of it is the best way to soothe, heal and nurture your skin.

Here are my favorite fall ingredients (think superfoods, but for your skin!) to look out for this season to keep your skin fresh, dewy and glowing all winter long:


This beautiful, gentle, healing botanical never ceases to capture our hearts. Due to the high mucilaginous compounds, it is incredibly soothing and anti-inflammatory. Like Hyaluronic Acid, Marshmallow Root helps to nourish, hydrate, protect and encourages skin cells to retain their own moisture.
